Feildians will be establishing a Prospects Program for the 2025 season. The program is geared toward players from U9 to U11 who are registered with Feildians and are ready to be challenged with additional training and games throughout the spring and summer.?
The goal of the FPP is to identify players in the Metro age groups who are eager for a higher level of practice and are ready for technical development outside of the current Metro program. This allows for continued larger-group development in the Metro league but caters to those players ready to be challenged in a Dedicated Player Program. This additional opportunity for the more skilled players helps to enhance the group training philosophy of the Metro League program where there may be multiple Tier 1 teams.
Additional weekly training sessions (75 minutes) will be led by Feildians staff coaches. Based on the team age and parent support, we envision that there could be age-appropriate tournament travel. That could include travel off-island if an appropriate event is available.
Players will be identified by the Club Head Coach and invited to participate in the program.
Session schedule will all run from June 1st - August 29th.
