Dear Fellow Feildians.
With the return to summer training and league play, we wanted to remind everyone about Feildians values. As a club, we are proud to be part of a community built on respect, teamwork, and fairness. It’s important that we all understand what respect truly means - treating every player, coach, referee, and supporter with kindness, dignity, and fairness, regardless of background or differences.
Any form of discrimination is not the Feildians way. An intolerant and unfair attitude toward people who are different - particularly in terms of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other identity traits - can show up in many ways. It might be expressed through obvious actions like name-calling, or through more subtle behaviors such as making assumptions, joking about someone’s identity, or choosing not to speak up when discrimination happens.
Discrimination is harmful and has no place in our club, but unfortunately, it can happen anywhere, and we must remain vigilant in addressing it. We must speak up when we see it, educate ourselves and others, and actively create an environment welcoming to all. Be aware of your language, support those who are mistreated, and immediately report any incidents to your coach, the Club Head Coach, or our club president. Silence allows discrimination to persist - but respectful action helps stop it.

Let’s continue to build a club we can all be proud of, where every member feels safe, valued, and included in our pursuit of individual and community excellence.
Thank you for being part of the Feildians family.
Sincerely,
Feildians Board of Directors
